Both formats are possible… but not everywhere
In Belgium, service vouchers come in two forms: electronic and paper. However, since June 2025, paper tickets can no longer be ordered in Flanders. This change is part of a drive to simplify and digitalize service.
Here are the main differences:
- Paper vouchers: to be filled in manually and given to your Household helper. Still used in Brussels and Wallonia, but due to disappear gradually.
- Electronic vouchers: to be encoded via an application (Pluxee or Sodexo), with real-time tracking and easier management.
At Aaxe, we strongly recommend the electronic format, which is faster, more secure and more convenient for both the customer and the Household helper.
Our tips for choosing the one that’s right for you
If you live in Flanders, the choice is already made: you must use electronic tickets.
For other regions, here are some criteria to consider:
- Are you often on the move or forget your papers? Prefer the electronic format.
- Do you need a clear overview of your services? The app lets you see your consumption at a glance.
- Are you comfortable using a smartphone or computer? Digital management is ideal for you.
In all cases, Aaxe can help you make the transition to electronic titles, even if you were previously using paper titles.
